Sunday!

Hi! Yesterday around lunch time, the family who owns the rabbits came. After lunch we went to the beach. We stayed there quite a long time actually. For dinner we went to this restaurant near the water. I ate pizza for dinner. Apparently my cousin who's name is Julius and his girlfriend was there fishing so we said 'Hi' to them!

BBQ at the beach

Hello! Before lunch I watched an episode of PLL. Then for lunch two of my cousins came. Later we meet up with my other cousins at the beach. We talked and just hung out. Later some of us went to fix dinner. When we came back there was this huge gray cloud over the beach so we thought it was going to rain but it didn't. So we just hung out and ate bbq for dinner.

Rabbits

Hi! Yesterday my dad brang home one mummy rabbit and five baby rabbits. We are going to take care of them for about a month. My dad's friend lives on a farm, and they have a lot of rabbits. So we are taking care of some of them for fun. The baby rabbits are soooo cute :) They are really small, they were born on Tuesday or Wednesday they don't know. 

On the picture it is my brother feeding the mummy rabbit. Sorry you can't really see the rabbit, I will try to take better pictures later.

Did you know?

Hi! I have this book with 300 weird but true facts. One of the facts were: peanut butter can be converted into a diamond! I read that when I was in school on lunch break, I had just been a eating peanut butter sandwich for lunch. So I was like 'maybe I just ate a diamond' to my friend. She was like 'What', then I showed her. Well so anyway the facts are weird and some of them are quite funny.

Beach day

Hi! Today we first went to a bicycle store to see if they had the bicycle I wanted. But apparently that bike came out a few years ago and they don't have it :( Well maybe I can find another bike I like. After lunch we went to the beach. Some of my cousins came down later, because they had already been there before lunch. The water temperature was actually ok, I got a bit sun burnt. When we got home we had bbq for dinner. How was your day? Were you at the beach?

My birthday!

Hello! Yesterday was my birthday, sorry for not updating but it was really late and I was tired, hope you guys understand. I'm a teen aahhh!! So my birthday started with that my parents, my brother, my friend Iris came in and sang for me, gave me breakfast and presents in bed. (It is a tradition in my family). From my parents and my brother I got, Desigual clothes, a Marc by Marc Jacobs case for my phone, two pair of awesome socks yeah I know it is weird but they are so awesome one of them where fuzzy. They are called 'little miss matched' I will tell you about it in another post) I also got bed sheets and stuff from Little miss matched and that I'm going to get a new bicycle. After they sang for me they ate breakfast. Afterwards we started preparing for the party. Then we ate lunch. Around two o'clock one of my cousin's and my grandma came. Then Iris and I painted our nails.After that, they helped us put up the balloons and stuff. Then sadly my friend Iris had to go, we thought she would be picked up by her grandparents later but apparently not, she had to leave before the others came because they had quite long way to drive. But to think on the bright side, I'm meeting her in August so that is going to be fun! Then like ten minutes after she left my cousins came, we ate cake and they sang for me. Afterwards we went for a walk to the beach, my brother got two sticks in his foot poor him :( But he still flew his kite. Then when we got home my cousin got the sticks out. Then we had spare ribs for dinner, it is not my favorite food but I still have it sometimes on my birthday. Then we just hung out and talked, after that we had like a mini disco, so we danced. Then they had to leave but it was still a REALLY good birthday. :)

A day with the friend!

Hi! When my friend Iris and I woke up, we decided to watch PLL, so we did. For lunch my cousin and his mum came. Afterwards Iris and I bicycled up to the small bakery which is also like an B&B and bought cardamom rolls. When we came back we had coffee. Later we continued to watch PLL ( it was quite bad weather). Later my other cousin came and she watched with us, she is my other cousin's sister. Then she had to leave and we ate dinner. Then all the birthday present wrapping started 😉

Hello! I can't believe my birthday is tomorrow! I'm gonna be a teen aaaaahhh.

Long day

Hi! Today at first I sat in a car, the we took the boat back to the mainland. After that we drove, but then after like three hours we met up with my friend who is staying at our house for my birthday. So we met her at a golf club and ate dinner, then we continued to drive for like two hours. Then we were at our summer house! Then we started to pack up a bit and then we went to bed. Well that was my day.

Last day at Gotland

Hello! Today after lunch, we went to visit my family's friends which has a farm. We looked at some of their animals, afterwards we had coffe and talked. After that we went home for a while. Later we went to this restaurant. In the beginning of the summer, famous Swedish singers go there and sing each others songs, they make it into a TV program. ( the restaurant is also like a hotel). The food there was very good. I also got two books and a hat my grandma made me, for birthday presents from my grandparents. Because we won't see them until late august.

Afternoon with the cousin

Hi! Today in the afternoon we went to my cousin Selma and her family's summer house, which they share with some other people. But it was only Selma and her parents there. So when we got there, we had coffee. After that we went for a walk. We went by a farm and we know the people who owns the farm so we talked with them 
for a really long time haha.  After that we ate dinner, for dessert we ate the home made vanilla and strawberry ice cream and strawberries. I will show you the result soon. But the thing is that I don't have so much Internet it is almost so I can upload this post. Ok well I'll try to do it as soon as possible. So after dinner we just hung out. Their summer house is from my grandma's part of the family so she used to be there sometimes when she was in my age. My dad also used to spend his summers there. But we don't spend so much time there since we have a summer house in the south of Sweden.

Home made strawberry ice cream

Hello! Today we didn't do much. I sat a bit in the sun and read. After lunch we just hung out a bit. Later my mum came, she has been in Stockholm. Then we had bbq for dinner. After dinner my brother, my dad and me made strawberry ice cream. First we had to make like a strawberry jam and then pour that in to the actual ice cream dough.We'll have to see the result tomorrow.

First day at Gotland

Hi! First we just went around a bit in Visby. My dad bought an ice cream machine so you can make your own ice cream. After lunch my brother, my dad and me we went to meet my cousin at a beach. Which is on the way to my grandparents summer house which we will be staying at. It was nice weather so we swam at the beach. The water was probably about 20 degrees so you could swim. For dinner my cousin and her parents came to my grandparents summer house to have bbq, we mostly just hung out and talked. My cousin Selma and I tried to make vanilla ice cream with the  ice cream machine, we'll have to see the result tomorrow. It was a sunny and nice day!

The island Gotland

Hello! Today in the morning we got ready and finished packing. Then my brother, my grandma, my dad, my granddad and me took the boat over to the island Gotland which is an island in Sweden. We are staying in a city called Visby. The city Visby has this big city wall which is 800 years old.The boat ride took about three and a half hours. What I did on the boat was to mostly to knit. I didn't do much because we had to wait so long for the lunch, because it was a really long line. So when we arrived at Gotland we unpacked the car then we just you know kind of hung out. Afterwards we went grocery shopping. Now I'm just writing this post. Hope everybody had a good day 😉

Last day in Stockholm for now

Hi! This is my last day for now in Stockholm. But we will come back for a few days in August. After lunch we went to our house to help my parents who were already there. They had to fix some stuff and things in the garden. Afterwards we went into the city to meet my uncle ,aunt and cousin. First we went to their apartment to hang out. Then we decided where we were going for dinner. We went to a sushi and grill restaurant. Then after we finished eating my uncle said that we had four minutes before the ice cream bar closed. So all of us hurried there. (I didn't know we were going there so I got quite surprised). After that we went to their apartment to say good bye to my aunt because she had gone back earlier with my cousin. My cousin is so cute, he has these big blue eyes. He is nine months old and his name is Filip.  After we said good bye to my aunt, we went back home. Because we had to pack. That was basically my last day in Stockholm for now. How was your day?

A sunny day in Stockholm

Hello! Today my dad came from Hong Kong in the morning. Later after lunch I, my mum, my dad and my brother went to our house here in Stockholm. Because my parents hadn't been there so they wanted to check out the garden and the house, since they had the keys. Afterwards we met my grandparents at a cafe. My dad, my grandma and me stayed in the city a bit. Because my grandma had to go grocery shopping and I had to go and look for 'The lying game' at a store which had DVDs. But they didn't have it there either! But they said that apparently it is not out yet. Well well I'll just have to wait. Today was actually a really nice and sunny day!

The socks I bought in Japan when we were there for easter, that I wore today. If you are wondering why I wear these kind of socks sometimes it is because I think they are quite cool and funny.

Soon a 100 years old!

Hi! Today my granddad and my brother went to the museum of natural history. It has dinosaurs, nature and things about the climate. They also have this huge big screen where you can watch movies about nature and animals. Anyways so while they were at the museum, me and my grandma knitted. Or it was more my grandma helping me but I know how to knit, it is just sometimes I need help. In Sweden in school we have crafts but in Hong Kong they don't. I moved before the school taught how to knit. So it was my grandma who has taught me how to knit. In the afternoon my mum went to visit my grandma's aunt who is 99 years old and turning 100 on August 30th. But isn it so cool to be 99 years old? She even planed her own party which she is having the 31st of august. She also made her own hand made invitations.

The light

Hello! I just wanted to say that the light here is amazing. At ten o'clock in the evening it is like four o'clock in the afternoon. The sun is actually only down two hours per day. At three o'clock at night it is like ten o'clock in the morning. The night is very short.

My grandmother disappeared!

Hi! Today we took the subway and then the tram to 'Skansen' which is like a big zoo but with Swedish traditional things. There is a big stage from which they send a TV program in the summer called 'singalong at Skansen'. We had lunch and walked around to look at all the animals. Some of the animals we saw were lynx, buffalo and a moose and her calf .We had ice cream, yum! We saw a peacock walking around freely in 'Skansen'. Wow, beautiful feathers! After we walked around in the park we decided to go to a café. My grandmother didn't want anything so she went for a walk and said she would be back. So I, my grandfather and my brother went to a café, my mum joined later. Then when we were done, my grandmother hadn't come back so me, my mum and my brother went to look at some more animals and my grandfather went to see if she had gone to the big entrance. But she was not there either! After several hours my grandmother called and said she was at home, so apparently we had overtaken each other without knowing. Just so you won't be thinking 'we could have called her', but my grandmother always leaves her phone off, if she ever brings it! So then I, my mum, my brother and my grandfather went home. That was my day at 'Skansen'.

Mini mini birthday celebration

Hello ! Today before lunch we didn't do much. After lunch we took the bus to my grandmother's brother's house. They invited us because they wanted to give my brother and me our birthday presents. As I don't think they will see us more this summer. I find that really nice of them to want to do that. They had baked a cake, we also ate other stuff such as cinnamon rolls. They are always the people in our family who invites and fixes celebrations such as Easter and Christmas. So when we got there, we ate the really nice cakes and cinnamon rolls. After that, we got our presents. Then we just talked. On our way home we went by this DVD store and I bought PLL. After we got home my mum and her sister came back, and we all sat on the balcony eating watermelon. Then we ate dinner. It was a really nice day. I also just wanted to say, you will see a picture of my japanese socks I wore. Hihi quite random!

My first day in Stockholm

Hello!  This is what I did on my first day in Stockholm. I woke up and ate breakfast. Then I got ready. Before lunch we just stayed at my grandparents flat. Then we ate 'plättar' (Swedish for mini pancake) for lunch,which I helped to make. After lunch we went to our house here in Stockholm. It feels kind of weird to be there. Because you know you don't live there but you know it is you're house. When I go there I get this kind of sad feeling in a way, because I miss it. We didn't have any keys so we didn't go in but we were in the garden. I also took some pictures which you can see underneath this post. Then we went to sort of like a small small  park with tennis courts and swings, which is about five minutes from our house. Because my brother wanted to swing. Then it was time to go because we were meeting my mum and her sister, who is here in Stockholm, but lives in Gothenburg, at three o'clock since the dentist appointment was at half past three. Unfortenly when we got back my mum called and said we were meeting her at the dentist instead. So we did. My teeth were ok. After the dentist we went to a DVD store because I wanted to see if they had 'The lying game', but they didn't. Well well I can always find it in another store. Then we went home. When we came home, we sort of you know took it easy. Afterwards we ate dinner and now I'm sitting here writing this post . Yup that was my first day in Stockholm. How was your day ?

Eight hour long car drive

Hi ! What I basically did today was to sit in a car. We drove from our summer house in the south of Sweden to Stockholm, which takes about eight hours. I listened to music,watched a movie and slept , since I'm jet lagged. That was basically my day.  Now we are in Stockholm, tomorrow we are maybe going to go by our house here in Stockholm. I also have to go to the dentist tomorrow, I hope my teeth are ok. Hope you had a good day :)
