Love Cake-Recipe

I'm now officially starting to post recipes, yaaay! This recipe is for Love Cake which we call it, but obviously in Swedish. That was what my brother and I baked a Saturday a few weeks ago. 1 day to june

Aloha! Haha just left like saying it haha. Can you guys believe it's June tomorrow? I'm so happy for that! This weekend is also going to be a long weekend because I don't have any school on Monday, which is really nice! We went down to the pool and the air was 32 degrees and guess how warm the water was? My parents and including myself thought it was 29, it was sooo nice! How has your Saturday been so far?

California

Who doesn't love California? I really love California! The first time I was in California I was 6 years old. Have any of you guys been to California before?

Hello, hello

Hello people of earth! Haha I just like saying that. Last weekend we were in Beijing for our long weekend and it was super nice!! All the pictures from Beijing and the Great Wall are in the camera and I have some problems getting them in my computer but I'll try to fix and have them put on the blog as soon as possible. Right now I'm sitting on the balcony and it's really hot but still really nice. I can't believe it is June tomorrow, so exciting. Quite soon I have summer holiday so that's a huge plus! When do you guys get summer holiday?

Dentist appointment

Hello people of earth! Today because it's Wednesday my school ended at 2pm which is really nice. After school today I went home to change and eat a snack, then I was off to my dentist appointment. I have to go there once a month, because they want to clean my Herbst. Today they also wanted to make the arms of my Herbst longer. How was your day?

Monday 12th of May

Today it was Monday. My Monday's are pretty ok actually, I have Explorations the two first lessons which is quite a tough subject, it's basically where we have to research a lot and do different things. Right now we're working on Global Warming and we have to come up with a research question to that and it has to different perspectives e.t.c. e.t.c. We had to see if could find enough information to answer our research question because if we didn't, we had to change question, I couldn't find enough information so I had to change mine. Ok well, after explorations I have break, and then I have study break which is really nice. Then I have P.E or as we called it at Island School Escape. It's basically where you can choose what you want to do e.g Tennis, Sailing, Rock climbing e.t.c. I have Yoga and Pilates which is nice, we do Yoga poses, Pilates and meditation. I have Escape the lesson before lunch and the last lesson of the day. So in one way my Monday's are quite annoying with Explorations, but my Monday's are also very nice with Study break and Escape.

Moi Weekend

Saturday: We mostly just took it easy. I did some homework, watched a movie and stuff like that.

My brother and I also baked chocolate squares. It turned out we didn't have enough butter for the frosting, but it turned out good in the end. We followed a Swedish recipe but maybe I can find one in English, so that I can post it here on the blog. 

Sunday: We went to meet up with a family friend for lunch, and we had sushi with her. Hard to guess right? Haha. Afterwards she went with us home, a bit later my mum had a yoga class and so I took care of my brother. 

Vintage Friday

On Friday after school I met up with my mum in Central and we had decided to look up some stores with vintage clothing, and so we did. A few of them we're ok, but one was really cool, it sold clothes and bags from the 1960's, 70's and I think the 80's as well. What was really cool was that they has like Chanel bags from like the 1960's and Prada dresses and other really cool stuff. I kind of like vintage, it's somehow very cool. We then went to pick up my brother from a play date and then we went to home to eat sushi that our helper had done. Isn't so cool to be able to make sushi? Later that evening my dad left to Sweden.

Last Tuesday

Last Tuesday, I had no school because it was Buddha's birthday. My mum, brother and I decided that we would go to a temple to celebrate Buddha's birthday. That's just what we did, we went to a beautiful temple and wished him a good birthday haha. After we had been to the temple we accidentally went into the souvenir shop, and it was so much people I actually kind of panicked. We also went to a park that was connected with the temple which was really beautiful too. We then ate lunch at a vegetarian restaurant that was pretty good. Afterwards we went home I did some homework and stuff. It was really funny because my mum was leaving to Shanghai that evening/afternoon and then my dad was supposed to arrive home about when my mum was leaving, and the funny thing was that when my mum went into the elevator my dad came out from the other elevator at literally the same time haha.

Disney- 'I am a princess'

I've seen this video on Disney Channel, and I think it so cute and nicely made :)
It's saying that anyone can be a princess, and to be a princess you have to be kind, generous, compassionate e.t.c. Hope you guys think it's cute as well!

Pink Sunday

Here's what I wore on Sunday. I just had to take the pictures because my outfit matched so well with the flowers in the background. 

Vanilla&Raspberry cupcakes

Today we went to eat lunch at our favorite sushi place, surprise surprise haha! Afterwards we went to a café where my dad had coffee. My dad was going to play basket ball, so my mum, my brother and I went to a place called PMQ where they have small shops and things. We saw this place where that had really cute cupcakes. My brother bought a vanilla cupcake and I bought a raspberry cupcake. They were really nice and cute!

Welcome May

Super nice morning

On Saturday when I woke up, I made my self some breakfast consisting of two sandwiches and tea. I took my breakfast and my really good book and sat in the sofa. It was really nice because my parents were out hiking, my brother was in the playroom with our helper and so it was only me at home. It was super cozy! If you wake up and have nothing to do, make yourself some nice breakfast and sit in your sofa, bed or maybe even balcony! That's my tip to you guys :) The pic shows the tea I drank, it's a cinnamon tea that I brought from Sweden, and it's really good!

Hello! As you can see I changed to a photo on the top and I changed colors. I quite like, I'm going to have it for a bit and then we'll se if I change it or if I keep it. What do you guys think about it?

The empire state of mind

I LOVE this song, and I love New York City! Every time I listen to this song it makes me miss New York so much and makes me realize how badly I want to go back there. I would LOVE to live there! The first time I was in New York I was 5 years old! The song gives me goosebumps because it's New York. Ahhhh gosh I want to go back there so bad!
