Welcome October!

Today is the first of October! October is probably going to be a good month. I can't believe my cousins are coming in three days, exciting!

Two years!

Today it was two years ago we landed in Hong Kong. These two years have gone quick and slow at the same time!

Monday!

Today in the afternoon I went down to central. I looked in some stores. It was nice! Tomorrow is China's National day! So I don't have any school. How was your Monday?

Tyra's place!

Today I went to Tyra's place! It was very fun. We tried to make an Starbucks Chocolate chip frappuccino, it was good but I think we put in a little bit too much vanilla haha! We also looked at these 'My addiction" videos on youtube, there was one girl who ate/chewed rocks haha! I find that quite weird ! How was your Sunday?

My dad's birthday party!

Today I was at Sophie's place, it was really fun! We did lots of stuff! In the evening it was my dad's birthday party! It was only adults so my brother and I were the only kids, but it was ok! Hope my dad had a great time!

My dad's birthday!

Today was my dad's birthday! Happy Birthday dad! In the morning we gave my dad breakfast in bed. Afterwards everybody went to work and school. But I stayed at home, since I didn't have school. I did some homework and stuff. In the evening we went to one of Hong Kong's best Mexican restaurants for dinner. It was very good, I ate tacos and for dessert and chili chocolate cake! I've never tried a chili chocolate cake before but it was good, a bit spicy.

Half day!

Today it was half day! It was also free dress today! When school ended I went home. At home I ate lunch, did homework and took it easy. Then I went to Faust, I was quite nervous before. But it was fun, everybody there seems very nice! Tomorrow is my dad's birthday!

Tuesday!

In humanities class, we now have to make a song about good things from the Industrial revolution. We have to choose a song and make our own lyrics and sing it on a podcast! I thinks it is going to quite fun actually! I know I talk a lot about my humanities class, but I think we do kind of interesting things there, hope you guys understand haha. Tomorrow is half day again haha, a very short week for me! We also have a dress casual day tomorrow, I wonder what I am going to wear. In the afternoon tomorrow I am going to my first Faust class. Faust is a theater/acting class, and tomorrow is my first time there aaahh a bit nervous actually!

Design

As you can see I totally changed the design of the blog! I like this design better. What do you guys think about it? Comment!

Raspberry smoothie!

Yesterday I made a raspberry smoothie, it was very good. It consisted of raspberries, yoghurt, orange juice and banana!

Typhoon signal no.8

Yesterday in the evening they changed to signal eight. If it still was signal eight, five thirty in the morning I didn't have to go to school. So now I am staying at home :)

My parents still need to go to work, because if they changed it to signal three before lunch which they did, they have to go to work! Sadly in the News paper I read that three people had died in the typhoon, R.I.P. Since I'm staying at home I'll see what I'll do!

Typhoon

Today for lunch we went to our favorite sushi place. Afterwards my mum and I went to get foot massage, very nice! Now we are mostly preparing for the typhoon. It will hit Hong Kong tonight, they think. I will probably not go to school tomorrow because of the typhoon. If the typhoon is signal three I still go to school, but if it is eight or over, everybody stays at home. When there is a typhoon you should not go out, because lose things like traffic signs can fly around and it is very dangerous. There was a signal eight typhoon last year I think, then it said in the newspaper that there was a trampoline  that was flying around haha. But seriously think of getting hit by trampoline, not so fun!

Lantau island!

Yesterday in the afternoon we took a ferry to Lantau island, one of the islands outside Hong Kong. Yesterday was mid-atumn festival.  It is sort of like christmas, you gather with your family. So yesterday when we came out there, we took a swim and ate at an restaurant. We  also celebrated mid-atumn festival a bit just for fun, with having lanterns, candles and we even tried moon cake! Not exactly my type of thing hehe! Today we just hung at the beach, it was really nice! The beach was very nice, not dirty or anything.

Packing!

I'm packing, because my family and I are staying on an island outside Hong Kong for one day. We will be back tomorrow evening I think! I don't know if I'll have internet connection out there, so I will update when I get back.

Milk ice cream!

Yesterday I tasted milk ice cream! I never knew there was such thing as milk ice cream. It tasted like vanilla and watermelon, very weird taste but it was ok! Have any of you tried milk ice cream before?

Humanities!

In our humanities class, we are learning about children labour in the 1800s. We are supposed to picture ourselves as a child labour in the 1800s and write sort of like an diary entry. But instead of writing it as a word document, our teacher decided that we should make six tweets. So all of us that didn't have twitter had to get it. I have been thinking about getting twitter for a while, and now I have it. I will  obviously post my own tweets after we finished our project! Tomorrow we only go until noon, nice! A Swedish girl named Tyra who goes in my school,will come to my place after school!

Lantern!

Today was a good day! For our summative assessment ( means that it goes on our report card) in English we had to write an Autobiography. Today we got our scores back and I'm very happy of mine:)
In my Mandarin class today, we made lanterns.Because this weekend they have like a Lantern Festival. But unfortunately I forgot my lantern in school :(
This is kind of how the lanterns we made look like, but they are a bit different. I can show you guys a picture when I take it home.

Brunch!

Today in the early afternoon we went to my dad's friends house to have brunch with them. They have three daughters, one that is one year younger then me, one that is one year older then me and one who is one year older then my brother, who is five years old. It was nice!

Saturday

For lunch we went to our favorite Sushi place. They serve the sushi on a small treadmill which you sit around! After lunch we went to Starbucks, I had a Chocolate Chip Frappuccino. Maybe it seems like I love Chocolate chip but I just like it haha :) Afterwards my dad and me went to do some errands. We also went to a French book shop. I bought a series which I can read, it is my second year learning French On our way home it took like ages to get a taxi!

Half Friday!

Today school ended at 11! Soo nice! Today I'm probably gonna finish reading my book or bake chocolate chip cookies. I also maybe be meeting up with my mum in the afternoon.
