Instead of having CCA in the afternoon, we had our school's talent show! It was fun and quite interesting to see haha! There were people who did things like singing, playing piano and things like that. There was even this girl who could chop wood with her hands, how cool is that? If you ask me then I'll say, VERY COOL! Can you guys believe it is December already?

About these two weeks...
Wednesday, December 11, 2013
I'm sorry for not blogging for about the past two weeks, and I don't like to start a post by saying sorry for that sorry for this... Because I don't think it sounds very good, but now I had to, because I'm actually sorry for not blogging.
So what has happened these two weeks... Um well last time I update it was Wednesday the fourth of December, I was at home and on Thursday I was at home being sick. Last weekend my, brother, mum and I baked "Lussebullar" which is saffron buns, but we call them "Lussebullar" in Swedish. In Sweden we bake them during the month of December and usually around the thirteenth of December and I'll tell you soon why. After we had baked the saffron buns, we went to my mum's friend who had this charity party, where she was raising money to one orphanage in India and one in Kenya I think. It was super nice!
This week has just been like a normal week. You would think that after exam week, school would be more quite, but apparently not. On this Friday morning my helper, my parents and I went to my brother's school to look a their Christmas Celebration, they were very good and cute! After school on Friday I went home to change and then I left to meet up with my mum, to first eat and then we went to have a run through on how "Lucia" would go. Ok so for the people who don't know what "Lucia" is I will explain. So "Lucia" is like a saint that comes with light when it is the darkest period during the year. Because in Sweden during the winter the sun goes up around nine o'clock in the morning and goes down around three in the afternoon. Even in some places in Sweden (not where I lived) the sun is only up about three hours a day, and so "Lucia" is very important. So I as said before it is around "Lucia" and in December we bake the saffron buns. "Lucia" is always celebrated on the thirteenth of December. It is celebrated in almost every school in Sweden. So "Lucia" comes with the light, and so one person is "Lucia" and that person has to have candles in here hair, she comes with her maids who holds one candle each, she also comes with her "star boys" who holds one star rod, "Lucia" also comes with ginger bread men and gnomes and all of them sing. We were a group of girls who made up the "Lucia" procession and then there were parents and adults who also sang with us. I was one of "Lucia's" maids! It was super fun!

Sunday&Monday
Sunday, December 8, 2013
Sunday: Around lunch time, my brother, my dad and I went to pick up my mum at the airport. Because my mum had been on a ten day yoga trip! Then when we came home, since it was the first of December we started Christmas decorating!
Monday: It was mostly just a normal Monday, that was so far away from Friday! When I came home I continued to decorate my room. I also organized my things a bit since the movers put them everywhere, and I didn't have time to do it last week since it was exam week. After dinner I went down to the clubhouse to attend my mum's yoga class, very nice!

Fleece socks
Thursday, December 5, 2013
Now in the winter when it is colder. Yes even here in Hong Kong it actually gets quite cold, about ten to fifteen degrees. Ok so anyways I have a pair of fleece socks that I bought at Uniqlo, they are really comfortable and warm. I really recommend them now when it is colder!
This is how my fleece socks looks like, they have them in some other designs as well! You can buy the fleece socks here.
Finally Friday
Friday, November 29, 2013
I'm sorry for not blogging so much, these past two weeks! It is just that I have been studying so much, these two weeks. Last week, the week before exams, this week exam week! But now it is Friday and ALL the exams are FINALLY over! Sooooooooooooooo nice, you have no idea!
Today after all our exams finished, there was a guest speaker who came to our school! His name was Paul Neil, and he has climbed Mount Everest! Isn't that so FREAKISHLY cool? I think it is! He has also climed all the seven summits, which means that he has climed the highest mountain on each of the seven continents in the world! Cool right?
I personally think it would be cool to climb Mount Everest, but also scary because it can be very dangerous! Would you like to climb Mount Everest?

Christmas Fair
Sunday, November 24, 2013
Today as I said in my last post, my brother had a Christmas fair at his school. We baked cupcakes and then they sold them there. It was a nice fair, with lots of activities. They also sold toys and other stuff, they had sort of like a bake sale where we sold our cupcakes. It seemed like people liked them, because when we left there was only five cupcakes left so that was fun!
After that we went to a cafe to have hot chocolate, because we didn't actually buy any foods at the fair!
When I came home I was in a Christmas mood, I can probably guess why. So I put on Christmas music haha! Are you guys looking forward to Christmas?

Cupcake baking-Christmas Fair
Saturday, November 23, 2013
Hello! Yesterday when I came home from school, my helper had baked the 'muffin' part of the cupcakes, if you know what I mean haha. So then I put icing on them! We were baking, because today my brother has a Christmas Fair at his school, and we decided we were to bake cupcakes and sell them!
Moving up
Monday, November 18, 2013
On Monday we moved up to the 47th floor! Because they are going to be renovating the building next to us, and so we didn't want to live too close to the renovation. Now you may wonder, but we still live in the same building how is that going to help? Well so the building next to us is literally wall to wall if you live in B, but now we live in A which is on the other side. (if you know what I mean). It is also better because the building that is going to renovated is (only) 25 floors, and we used to live in 20B and since we lived in B we were like wall to wall, to the building that is going to be renovated. But now we live in 47A, which is much higher then the renovation and since it is A we are on the other side. So we now live 27 floors higher up then we use to! Hope you guys understood what I meant haha! (I will write more about Macau later) We are so high up now!
Hotel breakfast at Macau
Friday, November 15, 2013
Today when we woke up we went to have breakfast at the hotel. Isn't hotel breakfasts one of the best things ever? At least I think so. Then we went to look at the pools! Now we are soon going for lunch! Ok now I will tell you a bit about Macau for the people who don't know what it is! So Macau is an island outside Hong Kong. Macau basically consists of an old town, hotels and casinos haha! We are staying here in Macau just over the weekend, because my parents are going on a big dinner tonight! One fun fact about Macau is that Macau have more casinos then Las Vegas!
Here are some photos of the hotel

This week
This week was kind of a normal week. Except on Wednesday we had school photo day. It was fun! I think the photos turned out good, but I don't think we get them until about a month! After school I also had Faust which was fun. We learnt how to fake slap and punch people haha! Then we went through a scene from a play and we had to put in the punches and slaps where we though they fit in. Then we preformed the scene together with the slaps and punches haha!
On Friday after school my brother, my mum and I took a ferry to Macau, which is an island about one hour from Hong Kong. Then we met up with my dad, who was already here at the hotel. Afterwards we went to a show which is called 'House Of Dancing Water'. It was a very good show!
Unfortunately we weren't aloud to take pictures of the show, but I have a photo of the show just before it started!

Today it is halloween yaaaaay! In my science class today we did a experiment, which was fun. Today in my school we had Parent-Teacher-Student-Conference. That is when you go with your parents to see your teachers and talk with them. I think it went well! When I came home from school, which was later then usual I went to go Trick or Treat with my friend Sophie! I was a dressed as a mean queen haha! Now, in the evening my parents had a Reception at our house, so I'm now in the club house with my brother, his friend and my mum's friend's kids.

A midsummer night's dream
Yesterday in my Mandarin class, they had this huge argument about which character should go last in a sentence haha. It was hilarious! In my humanities class I showed the video I had made, about child labour in Ghana. Since it was Wednesday I had Faust. In Faust we learnt the meaning of some of the things Puck (I'm not really sure how you spell Puck) in 'A midsummer night's dream' says. We also learnt some Shakespeare insults haha! Then we had to act out the scene Puck was saying, in a group of three people.
When I came home, we had ordered a cake for my mum's friend's son who's birthday was on Tuesday. He likes Spider Man so we got him a Spider Man cake. My mum had bought nail polish which glows in the dark. Which I wore today for Halloween!

Not many people
Monday, October 28, 2013
Today we were not that many in my class, a lot of people were at home. Since quite a few were at home, in my English class we watched the program TED about poetry haha!
Now I actually know what I am going to be for halloween. At first I wanted to be 'Alice in wonderland' but then I couldn't find the right costume for it, so I decided to be sort of like a vampire/witch girl!
Have you guys decided what you are going to wear for halloween?

Flat Stanley
Saturday, October 26, 2013
Last year our family's friend's daughter from the U.S, sent me a letter about Flat Stanley. Flat Stanley is a book about a boy who goes on adventures. In the letter there was also a drawing of her as they are supposed to send their selves as Flat Stanley. I was supposed to write a little about Hong Kong and then mail it back to her! So this year I am doing the same thing but for their friend, because they thought I did a good job doing it last year. It was fun, and I was happy to help!

Saint Germain
Today we took it quite easy. I worked on a Summative project/assessment. My mum's friend and her family's plane got cancelled, so instead of coming this afternoon as they were supposed to they are coming at midnight.
For dinner my family and I went to a French restaurant which is called 'Saint Germain'. The food there was really good!

Cherry toe post shoes
Friday, October 25, 2013
These are a pair of shoes, that I first saw in a store and I really liked them. But then when I was going to buy them I couldn't find them anywhere. But then I found them at Amazon and I got really happy! Because I had literary looked for them everywhere and I almost gave up but then I found them. So then my mum told me that I could have them as a present because we had been living here in Hong Kong for two years! We ordered them and now they have arrived, wohho! I'm soo happy! They are Anna Sui for Hush Puppies shoes!
This is how they look like:

Do you have any good ideas for a costume?
Wednesday & Thursday
Thursday, October 24, 2013
Yesterday in school my classmate and I presented a PPT about caffeine! We had to choose a drug and then do a PPT about it, almost everybody took illegal drugs so we took caffeine. It went well!
In the evening I had Faust. In Faust this time, we learnt a little about the play 'Much ado about nothing'. Then we learnt how to speak it with like the emotions! Yesterday my dad came home, and on Friday my my is coming!
Today, I had a Mandarin oral assessment!
We had to speak about a holiday we had been to, for two minutes. We were only aloud to have que cards, the rest we had to remember. It was quite hard, but I think it went well!
In my technology class, my two classmates and I had made an animation that contained the design cycle. Today we presented it, everybody seemed to like it, so that was fun!
CCA Photography
Tuesday, October 22, 2013
Today it is Tuesday, which means my last two lessons were photography, which was nice! In my photo class we learned how to change a face into like a scary face. (not a very good explanation but I will show you a picture) It is not that scary, but it was still fun to do it!
On Friday my dad left to Sweden and yesterday my mum left to Sweden haha. Well so my brother and I are here alone with our helper, so we are actually not alone haha! This Saturday my mum's friend and her family are coming here to Hong Kong to visit us, they are staying for a week!
This week we have a lot of Summative assessments, ugh. Hope you all had a good day!

National day
Friday, October 18, 2013
Today we had 'National day' at my school. Which means that you are supposed to wear the colors of the flag your country has, and or something to do with your country or represents your country. I didn't really have anything in yellow and blue and I couldn't really find anything that represents or has anything to do with Sweden well well... But I at least wore a pair of blue tights and a color full shirt haha! But it was fun! Today when we had P.E, we got assessed on how we played Badminton. Our skills got assessed and then it goes on our report card. I don't really get why we have to be assessed on our skills since everybody is more or less good at Badminton well well. Now you may think I am complaining, but I'm not I just do not completely understand why we have to be assessed on it, since different people are more or less good at it, but I guess we just have too... But you guys know what I mean right? Ok so anyways now 'Spirit week' is over, but it was a fun week!
Hong Kong today!
The clothes I got
When my cousins were here, my mum had bought me some clothes, which I mentioned in another post. I also said I would maybe show you guys them in another post. Which I decided to and here it is.
I got three things, and I really like them! :)
2. A bikin top, I really like the colours.
3. A pair of glitter thights!
